Question 1

What SPF should I look for in a daily sunscreen?

Accepted Answer

Dermatologists generally recommend SPF 30 or higher for daily use, and SPF 50+ when you'll be outdoors for longer. The Luminous Tinted Sunscreen is SPF 50+ PA+++ and the Aqua Radiance Sunscreen is SPF 50+ PA++++. Both cover UVA (ageing, pigmentation) and UVB (burning). The Hydra Glow Mist is SPF 30+ PA+++ and is best used for reapplication.

Question 2

What's the difference between mineral, chemical and hybrid sunscreen?

Accepted Answer

Mineral sunscreens use zinc oxide or titanium dioxide to reflect UV rays. Chemical sunscreens absorb UV rays and convert them to heat. Hybrid sunscreens combine both. The Tinted Sunscreen pairs titanium dioxide and micronized zinc oxide with chemical filters, and Aqua Radiance pairs micronized zinc oxide with chemical filters. This gives strong protection in a much lighter feel than a purely mineral formula.

Question 3

Which is the best Terrai sunscreen for face?

Accepted Answer

It depends on what you want from your skin. Choose the Tinted Sunscreen if you want coverage and a glow in one step. Choose Aqua Radiance if you want the lightest, most watery feel and hydration. Add the Hydra Glow Mist if you're outdoors and need to top up through the day.

Question 4

Will tinted sunscreen replace my foundation?

Accepted Answer

For everyday wear, many people find it does. The Tinted Sunscreen blends SPF 50+ protection with light, buildable coverage. Customers tell us it saves them a step on busy mornings. For full-coverage occasions you can still layer makeup over it.

Question 5

Does Terrai sunscreen leave a white cast on deeper skin tones?

Accepted Answer

No. The Tinted Sunscreen comes in three shade ranges made for Indian skin, and Aqua Radiance is a clear, watery formula with zero white cast.

Question 6

Is this sunscreen suitable for oily or acne-prone skin?

Accepted Answer

The Tinted Sunscreen and Aqua Radiance both have non-comedogenic test reports, which means they're formulated not to clog pores. Reviewers also mention the tinted formula works well for oily to combination skin, and the non-comedogenic report is available to read.

Question 7

How much sunscreen should I apply, and how often should I reapply?

Accepted Answer

For the Tinted Sunscreen, take the amount that suits your coverage preference and blend it in gently and evenly. Use a thin layer for light protection and a bit more for fuller tint coverage. For Aqua Radiance, apply a generous amount 10 to 15 minutes before stepping out. Reapplication every 2 to 3 hours is standard practice when you're outdoors for extended periods, and sooner if you've been sweating or swimming. The Aqua Radiance product page suggests reapplying every four hours outdoors, so treat that as the outer limit and go shorter when the sun is strong. The Hydra Glow Mist makes this easy. Hold it 8 to 10 inches from your face, close your eyes, and spray in a circular motion over your face and neck, even over makeup.

Question 8

Can the Hydra Glow Mist replace my sunscreen?

Accepted Answer

No. Its SPF is 30+ PA+++, so it's designed to top up your protection, not to be your only sunscreen. Apply your Tinted Sunscreen or Aqua Radiance first, then use the mist through the day.

Question 9

Is Aqua Radiance water resistant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is water resistant for up to 80 minutes, and the water resistance test report is on the product page. Reapply after swimming or heavy sweating.

Question 10

Is Terrai sunscreen tested for skin safety?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Tinted Sunscreen, Aqua Radiance and Hydra Glow Mist all have dermatological safety reports on their product pages. You can read them directly: Tinted Sunscreen, Aqua Radiance and Hydra Glow Mist. The Tinted Sunscreen also has an in-vivo SPF test.

Question 11

Is Terrai a natural or organic sunscreen?

Accepted Answer

Terrai's sunscreens are hybrid formulas, not purely natural ones. They do include plant-based and organic-certified ingredients, such as the Olive Squalane and Aloe Vera in the Tinted Sunscreen, and Aqua Radiance has a cruelty-free and vegan report. The full ingredient list is on each product page.

Question 12

Can I use this sunscreen if I have pigmentation or melasma?

Accepted Answer

Many people managing pigmentation choose tinted, zinc-containing sunscreens because they're generally well tolerated, and one reviewer shared that the Tinted Sunscreen worked well for their melasma. The Hydra Glow Mist also has a pigmentation-related test report. That said, if you have diagnosed melasma or another skin condition, please check with a dermatologist before adding a new product.

Question 13

What is the price of Terrai sunscreen?

Accepted Answer

The Luminous Tinted Sunscreen is ₹699 (30g), the Hydra Glow Mist is ₹850 (75ml), and the Aqua Radiance Sunscreen is ₹980 (50ml). Prices include all taxes, and new customers can use code NEW10 for 10% off.
